I was a Threading Virgin when I walked in Chandi's. I'd been putting off this experience to the point where I was sure the N & O would be posting "Sasquatch Sighted in Cary!" Being a middle-age Caucasian of blonde hair did not give me an advantage....hair mixed with make-up......still turns into a neon rug on any skin. Meena,...was absolutely wonderful and handled my 'Deer-In-The-Headlights' timidness with loving hands. The sensation of threading - to all the other newbies out there - is akin to a slight rubber-band tap to your face. Meena was so gentle that only my lip area produced the tiniest discomfort. I had also feared I'd leave with a red face appearing slapped - not so!! My skin was just as fair as when I walked in. An additional bonus to facial threading is the feeling afterwards....just an ultimate clean! Not even my weekly Clarisonic treatments achieve this depth of baby-freshness. Their ladies-only policy and their respect of privacy completely removed my initial self-consciousness.
I second the previous Yelper's praise of the enticing smells of the Indian community shops within this strip mall. Yum! I cannot recommend Chandi's more highly!
This was the best birthday present!
I am writing to share with you the true relaxation that I experienced with the Sundari Facial you gave me while I was visiting my daughter in the Cary NC area. This was a present given to me by my daughter. I have had several spa pamperings at resorts I have visited but truly you were great. This was the best birthday present I have received. I will keep coming back for more.
Still glowing from the effects
I went to the new Cary location - which is LOVELY - last week. Leah gave me the BEST facial last week -I am still glowing from the effects. The creams are the best, her knowledge and care was outstanding. If you are looking for a reasonably priced way to pamper yourself, CHANDNIS in Cary is the way to go. A+ I'll never go elsewhere!
Perfect Eyebrows in Cary
LOVE! Can't believe I hadn't thought of it till I was in Cary for a few hours the other day, and since I now have access I'll be dropping by monthly to get my eyebrows done. No need to search in Boston to get perfect eyebrows!

If I could give Chandni's ten stars, I would. I am thrilled that they are now right down the street from me- I was driving to their Cary location for the past 3 years. The ladies are all so friendly, and the threading is always gentle but thorough. Please give them a try- your brows will thank you!
